Put your name or logo right on the video, step by step. Takes about five minutes.
Kinescope is a video platform for course creators, EdTech, and businesses. You upload your videos once, and Kinescope stores them, protects them, and plays them fast anywhere you embed them, with your own branding and no ads.
A private, secure home for your course videos. An alternative to YouTube or Vimeo for when you need real control.

It will not stop someone filming the screen, nothing fully does, but it keeps your mark on every frame and works as an easy extra layer on top of DRM.

Drag your file or folder into the project to upload it.
Click the video and stay on the General tab.
Scroll to the Player section and open Customize player.
In the player editor, switch from Basic to Advanced, the watermark settings live there.
In the Watermark section, toggle Enable watermark, then set Type, Size, Display frequency, Opacity and Style.
Set Type to Random so the mark moves around the frame, and keep Opacity light. Your students barely notice it, but it stays on every copy.
Show your text or logo. Random type moves the mark around so it is hard to crop out.
Control how big and how visible the mark is. Light opacity keeps the video clean for paying students.
How often the mark appears during playback. More often means harder to miss on any copy.
The mark renders on the video as it plays, so it carries over to any recording of the screen.
A watermark does not block copying. It makes sure that wherever your video ends up, your brand is on it.
Be realistic about what each layer does, so you set the right expectation:
No platform can stop someone pointing another phone at the screen. But that copy comes out shaky and low quality, and with a watermark on it, almost no one would pay for it. Use both layers together for real coverage.
Set up watermarks and DRM on Kinescope and keep your course yours.
